Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Coleman, McCulloch Counties Until 7:45 PM

Residents in southeastern Coleman County and north central McCulloch County are advised to take immediate shelter as a Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued until 7:45 PM CDT tonight, September 21.

The National Weather Service in San Angelo reported at 7:06 PM CDT that a severe thunderstorm was located over Fife, near Waldrip, and is nearly stationary. This storm is capable of producing 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

Radar indicated these hazards. The National Weather Service warns of expected hail damage to vehicles and wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. The affected areas include mainly rural locations, specifically US-283 near the McCulloch-Coleman County Line and Fife.

For your protection, move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building immediately.
