Coralee Garrison Wins Molter Memorial Award in Manatee County
Coralee Garrison received the 2025 Robert and Dan E. Molter Memorial Volunteer Award for her work with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Garrison has volunteered with MCSO since August 2015. She patrols neighborhoods and shopping centers in the Crime Prevention Unit, where she advises residents on safety. In 2024, she logged 179 volunteer hours; through mid-2025, she contributed 127 more.
Over the past year, Garrison collected and disposed of unwanted medications at 10 health fairs across Manatee County. She opened her home twice to film public service announcements warning seniors about scams.
Garrison organized community outreach events at Palm Lake Estates in April and July 2025, coordinating activities and food that brought hundreds of residents together with deputies. She also serves on the MCSO Employment Eligibility Board, which reviews applicant files to verify candidates meet minimum qualification standards.
Sheriff Rick Wells and Mallory Molter presented the award. The Molter Memorial Award honors volunteers who demonstrate exceptional commitment to the Sheriff's Office and community.
