Bradenton residents facing a behavioral health crisis can now access immediate support through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, via call, text, or online chat. Individuals can reach out for themselves or if they are concerned about another person's safety or mental well-being.

Centerstone's Crisis Call Center operates the 988 Lifeline. Trained staff provide a confidential and nonjudgmental space. They listen empathetically, help individuals discuss their feelings, assess safety, and offer coping strategies and resources. The goal is to promote safety with minimal disruption.

After an initial crisis interaction, Centerstone can offer continued support with consent. This may include scheduled follow-up calls, help finding local resources, and developing safety plans.
