SCF Bradenton Literary Guild Hosts Open Mic Night

The SCF Literary Guild hosted an open mic night at SCF Bradenton on Sept. 24, 2026, inviting the community to share poetry and music.

Bradenton residents shared poetry and musical performances at an open mic night hosted by the SCF Literary Guild on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026. The event, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Building 9 at State College of Florida, Manatee–Sarasota (SCF Bradenton), welcomed faculty, staff, students and the wider community.

The event provided a platform for individuals to read published works or perform music, including solo singing and acoustic guitar. The SCF Literary Guild organized the gathering in the Language & Literature and Social Science building to encourage participation and showcase local talent.
