Pine Bush Superintendent Updates Community on Former Employee Arrest, Announces New Policies
Dear members of the Pine Bush Community:
Dear members of the Pine Bush Community: I want to make you aware that there was recently a news story published regarding an arrest made of a former school social worker in the district. While I am constrained by law from commenting regarding any specific details related to this former employee, the district has acted in a manner consistent with maintaining the safety and security of its students and the Pine Bush community at-large. Educating students in a safe and secure learning environment remains our top priority. We are also in the process of developing an anti-fraternization policy and reviewing communications protocols to ensure that clear parameters are in place to guide both our employees and our students regarding appropriate student-staff relations. The individual named in the media release was employed as a school social worker in the district until she resigned from that position effective close of business on April 10, 2026.
