Dense Fog Advisory: Slow Down on Roads Until 10 AM CDT
A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 AM CDT for Sanborn, Miner, Davison, Hanson, Hutchinson, and Bon Homme counties, urging drivers to slow down and use headlights due to hazardous low visibility.
Drivers in Sanborn, Miner, Davison, Hanson, Hutchinson, and Bon Homme counties are advised to slow down, use their headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead due to a Dense Fog Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Sioux Falls SD.
The advisory is effective immediately, September 27 at 2:11 AM CDT, and will remain in effect until 10:00 AM CDT this morning. The NWS reports visibility as low as one-quarter to one-half mile in dense fog across portions of east central and southeast South Dakota.
Low visibility can make driving conditions hazardous. All motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution when traveling in affected areas.
