Bolivia residents have an opportunity to shape their community by applying for positions on various city boards and committees. The City is currently accepting applications for several key advisory groups, offering citizens a chance to contribute their time and expertise.
Serve Your Community
The City is seeking dedicated individuals to serve on the following boards and committees:
- Board of Adjustment: Hears and decides on zoning variances and appeals of administrative decisions.
- Planning Board: Reviews development proposals and provides recommendations on zoning and land use.
- Forestry Committee: Promotes tree preservation, planting, and overall urban forestry efforts.
- Beautification Committee: Enhances the visual appeal of the City through projects and initiatives.
- ABC Board: Oversees the operation and policies of the City’s Alcoholic Beverage Control system.
- Cemetery Committee: Assists with oversight, policies, and preservation of City cemeteries.
- Historic Preservation Commission (HPC): Reviews proposed changes within historic districts to help preserve the City’s historic character.
