Congregation B'nai Israel's Noah's Bark & Third Grade Shabbat Blesses Pets, Supports 'Paws for a Cause'

Congregation B'nai Israel's annual Noah's Bark and Third Grade Shabbat, held on Friday, October 16, at 6:00 PM, brought together Boca Raton residents and their pets. The event, which took place on CBI’s front lawn, offered a unique opportunity for community members to celebrate faith with their furry friends or favorite stuffed animals.

This community gathering featured a special blessing for all pets and stuffed animals. Following the service, attendees enjoyed a "hot diggity dog" oneg, fostering a relaxed and festive atmosphere for families.

Congregation B'nai Israel also invited the community to participate in a Shabbat slideshow, with residents submitting photos of themselves with their pets or stuffed animals to [email protected]. The event supported CBI’s October Social Action Initiative, 'Paws for a Cause,' and organizers collected donations during the gathering.

The annual Noah's Bark event, a recurring fixture at Congregation B'nai Israel, brought together families and their animals for a spiritual and communal experience.
