Boca Raton Election Set for March 9, 2027
Boca Raton voters will head to the polls on March 9, 2027, to elect city council members. The candidate qualifying period begins November 2, 2026.

Boca Raton residents will vote on Tuesday, March 9, 2027, to fill vacant City Council seats C and D, and any others that become available before the election. The City Council may also address other matters during the election process.
The candidate qualifying period runs from 8 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2026, to 5 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2026. City Charter rules require candidates to be qualified electors of the city and reside in Boca Raton for at least one year before the qualifying period begins. Candidates must provide proof of residency. Individuals who applied for or maintained a homestead exemption outside the city within the preceding year will be considered nonresidents.
A qualified elector is a city resident who is also a qualified elector of Florida and has registered according to state statutes. Prospective candidates can find detailed qualifying information at the Office of the City Clerk, 201 W. Palmetto Park Road, or online. All candidates must complete their qualification process with the City Clerk.
Individuals needing special accommodations for the candidate qualification process due to a disability should contact the City Clerk's office at 393-7740 at least three business days in advance. The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections will close voter registration books at 5 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2027, for the March 9 election. Residents registering after this date cannot vote.
