To begin the process, you are required to pass two examinations, one for your trade and one for financial knowledge called Business and Law. The cost of sponsorship is $50.00 per test. Please note that Santa Rosa County does not issue competency cards for all exams listed. The minimum score required on both tests to advance to the next phase of licensure is 75%. As a testing candidate, you can take the tests as many times as necessary to obtain the scores needed. The testing agency, however, will charge a fee for each test taken.
