Schönborn, Rhein-Hunsrück - Wikipedia

"Schönborn is an Ortsgemeinde – a municipality belonging to a Verbandsgemeinde, a kind of collective municipality – in the Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis (district) in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde Simmern-Rheinböllen, whose seat is in Simmern. The municipality lies in the central Hunsrück between the Kauerbach and Simmerbach valleys. To the east lies Simmern, some 4 km away, and to the west, Kirchberg, also some 4 km away. Archaeological finds are known from as early as Late La Tène times. In 1290, Schönborn had its first documentary mention. The village was part of Palatinate-Simmern and, beginning in 1673, Electoral Palatinate. Beginning in 1794, Schönborn lay under French rule. In 1814 it was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia at the Congress of Vienna. Since 1946, it has been part of the then newly founded state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The municipality has a population of 277 as of December 31, 2024, with a population density of 71/km². The elevation is 360 m (1,180 ft). The postal code is 55469 and the dialling code is 06761. The council is made up of 6 council members, elected by majority vote. Schönborn's mayor is Manfred Gruhn (2019-24). Notable buildings include an Evangelical church at Hauptstraße 10, a Gothic Revival brick building constructed in 1899."

"Blue Grass is an unincorporated community on VA 642 at its junction with VA 640 in Highland County, Virginia, United States. Blue Grass lies along the South Branch Potomac River and is located approximately 6.1 miles (9.8 km) north of Monterey. It was previously known as Crabbottom and Hulls Store before the Board on Geographic Names officially decided upon Blue Grass in 1950. Near Blue Grass is the Devils Backbone rock formation. Blue Grass has a post office with ZIP code 24413. The Hollywood silent film classic Tol'able David was filmed in Blue Grass during 1921. Notable persons from the area include Susan Swecker, Chair of the Democratic Party of Virginia who was raised there, and Arlie Martin Jack, a World War I US Infantry Army Veteran."
