The Firebaugh Fire Department, officially organized in 1920. It is one of the oldest continuously operating all volunteer fire department in the San Joaquin Valley.  Currently the FFD has 22 active members, comprised of individuals from the Volunteer Firefighters Association of Firebaugh.  Several of its members are trained EMT-1’s, professional first-aid, and CPR certified.
