Avalanche Defeat Golden Knights in Game 1, Western Conference Finals

The Colorado Avalanche defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. Nathan MacKinnon led the Avalanche with one goal and two assists for three points. Cale Makar contributed a goal and an assist.

For the Golden Knights, Jack Eichel scored a goal and added an assist. Mark Stone also scored a power-play goal. Goaltenders saw heavy action, with the Avalanche's Darcy Kuemper making 28 saves and the Golden Knights' Adin Hill stopping 25 shots.

The Avalanche lead the best-of-seven series 1-0 as they continue their playoff push towards the Stanley Cup Final.
