76ers Defeat Bucks 126-106; Antetokounmpo Addresses Future with Milwaukee
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 126-106 on Sunday, March 12. After the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo addressed his future with the Bucks. He stated that he does not know if he has played his last game in a Bucks uniform.
Antetokounmpo expressed frustration regarding the Bucks' handling of his recent knee injury. He said he had completed the required steps to return to play, but the team did not clear him.
Antetokounmpo also mentioned that he has not been offered a contract extension by the Bucks. He will be an unrestricted free agent next summer, if he and the team do not agree to an extension before then. Wes Edens, the owner, mentioned the possibility of offering Antetokounmpo an extension this fall, but there has been no further progress on the matter.
