Mount Saint Charles Students Compete for Team USA Theatre on Ice

Six current students and one recent graduate from Mount Saint Charles Academy will compete for Team USA at the 2026 Nations' Cup Theatre on Ice competition in East Lansing, Michigan, as members of Ocean State Ice Theatre.

The team includes Mia Rocco, Emma Brown, Elisabeth Tortolano, Emily Souza, Alexis Perry, Scarlet Wiley, and 2024 graduate Cristian McKnight Ide. Coaches Sarah DiNardo and Kate Louth will accompany them.

All seven skaters train through Mount's Sur La Glace program, which integrates practice into the school day. Theatre on ice combines figure skating, dance, and dramatic performance. Judges evaluate technical skill, creativity, interpretation, and ensemble unity.

The Nations' Cup brings together elite teams from the United States, Canada, Spain, and Australia. After that competition, the team will compete at the U.S. National Theatre on Ice competition in Irvine, California later this month.
