Lake Wales Outdoor Adventure Club Looking for a group to explore nature with? Join the Lake Wales Outdoor Adventure Club! Each month we will traverse the Lake Wales Ridge through hiking, trailway walking, nature journaling, birdwatching, or kayaking. Our club also attends Group Volunteer Workdays at Tiger Creek Nature Preserve to contribute to local conservation efforts. No outdoor experience is necessary to join our group. That's what the Lake Wales Family Rec Center's Swim Club intends to do - our program will fine tune existing skills and continue to propel your child forward on the path to mastery! Read about club details and tryouts below. ⤵ LWFRC Swim Club is for swimmers 6-18y/o. Cost is $100/month. There will be two sessions of swim club from September - October. Tryouts require registration, see the links at the bottom of the post to secure a spot. September Club Tryouts: Friday, August 28th 5 - 6:30pm. September Club Practices: August 31st - Sept. 24th, M-Th 5:30-7pm September Club Swim Meet: Saturday, September 26th 12-2pm October Club Tryouts: Friday, September 25th, 5 - 6:30pm. Join us for our “Paint n’ Sip” meetups event at the Lake Wales Family Recreation Center. The event is hosted through a partnership with the Lake Wales Arts Council.
