NH USDA Funding Calendar for Nonprofits and Towns
The USDA Rural Development office and New Hampshire's Business and Economic Affairs department released a funding calendar Wednesday to help nonprofits, municipalities, and small businesses identify federal grants.
The NH Rural Economic Development Funding Calendar lists USDA programs offering more than $100,000 each. Categories include water and waste infrastructure, housing, energy projects, business development, telemedicine, and training programs.
Steve Fortier, the state's administrator of rural economic development, said the calendar gives applicants more time to prepare submissions and find matching funds. Grant seekers often miss deadlines while searching for relevant opportunities.
The calendar is available online. Officials recommend bookmarking it for the most current version, as federal program details change. Users should contact the state agency directly for updates.
Questions can be directed to Fortier at [email protected].
