The City of Vidalia is honored to announce the election of Reverend Ronald Miller to the Vidalia City Council, representing Ward 3. Rev. Miller will be officially sworn in on July 14, 2025, filling the seat left vacant by the late and beloved Councilman John Raymond Turner. A lifelong servant leader and respected pastor, Rev. Miller brings a spirit of humility, compassion, and deep community connection to his new role. City Manager Josh Beck shared: “Rev. Miller is community-minded, has a heart to serve, and holds those who came before him in high regard. He is what I would call a genuine leader—someone who puts himself last and the community first. That was evident in the way he campaigned and is a reflection of how he will serve.” Rev. Miller’s appointment carries on the legacy of Councilman Raymond Turner, whose decades of public service set a powerful example of integrity and commitment to Vidalia. The City extends its continued gratitude to the Turner family and looks forward to seeing that spirit of service carried on in Ward 3.Please join us in congratulating Rev. Ronald Miller as he begins this new chapter of leadership for the City of Vidalia. The post City of Vidalia Welcomes Rev. Ronald Miller to City Council appeared first on Vidalia Georiga.
