Search for Missing Paddleboarder Continues Off Jupiter Beach

Rescue crews continued their search today, Sept. 17, 2026, for Matt Pawlowski, a 48-year-old paddleboarder who went missing off Jupiter Beach earlier this week. Pawlowski was last seen Monday morning, Sept. 15, 2026, heading east into the ocean on a lime-green and yellow paddleboard.

The U.S. Coast Guard and partner agencies launched an extensive search after Pawlowski failed to return. He was last observed on a 14-foot paddleboard around 9 a.m. Monday, wearing a white hat, orange shirt and gray shorts.

Search teams utilized surface vessels and aircraft to track ocean drift patterns, last-known coordinates and prospective routes. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is assisting the Coast Guard in the ongoing operation.
