Arlington ISD Teacher Pay Boost: Clinic & Wellness Plan

Arlington ISD trustees unanimously approved a compensation plan for the 2026-2027 school year that includes a third-party clinic network and increased wellness incentives.
The clinic network opens in spring 2027 and offers primary care, urgent care, and telemedicine at no cost to employees enrolled in the district medical plan. Employees outside the plan can join for a monthly fee and add dependents.
Teachers who reach Platinum Status in the wellness program will receive an additional $28.25 monthly toward health insurance premiums, raising the total wellness credit to $79.25 from $51.
The district also increased the Special Education Specialized Programs stipend by $500 to $3,500.
"Despite the current financial challenges facing public school districts across Texas, our commitment to supporting our dedicated teachers and staff remains unwavering," Board President Sarah McMurrough said. "We will continue to advocate at the state level for increased public education funding."
