Polk County Veteran Services to Host Claims Clinic May 29, 2024 Bartow, FL – The Polk County Veteran Services Office will be hosting a claims clinic on Friday, June 7th, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Bartow Public Library, located at 625 N. Broadway Ave, Bartow, FL 33830. Veterans can come and receive assistance with filing claims and accessing benefits they have earned through their service to our nation. For more information, please contact the Polk County Veteran Services Office at (863) 534-4750.

"NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, will hold a Public Hearing before the City Commission at City Hall, 800 Seminole Road, Atlantic Beach, Florida, on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. to consider the following Ordinance: ORDINANCE 619 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY’S LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, AS AMENDED; REVISING PROVISIONS RELATED TO NONCONFORMITIES; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF LAWS IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. A copy of the complete Ordinance is available for review at City Hall, 800 Seminole Road, Atlantic Beach, Florida, during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the Ordinance."
