Bardstown City Schools Hires First Educator Development Coordinator

Bardstown City Schools named Natalie Kiser as the district's first Educator Development Coordinator, effective July 1. Kiser will support current teachers, recruit new ones, and oversee the district's Teaching and Learning pathway for middle and high school students interested in education careers.

In the role, Kiser will work with principals and teachers to strengthen instructional programs, professional learning, and curriculum resources. She will also serve as liaison for state and national educational initiatives and partner with universities on teacher recruitment.

Kiser taught ninth-grade English at Bardstown High School from 2004 to 2010, then served as assistant principal at Bardstown Primary School. Before joining Bardstown City Schools, she taught middle school English Language Arts in Oldham County and Nelson County schools.

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Morehead State University, a Master's Degree in Administration from the University of Louisville, and a Rank I certification as a Supervisor of Instruction from the University of the Cumberlands.
