BH-BL Wins 14th National Music Education Award

The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District received the Best Communities for Music Education Award from The NAMM Foundation for the 14th consecutive year, recognizing sustained commitment to music programs.
The national honor places BH-BL among more than 1,000 school districts selected in 2026 for providing high-quality, accessible music education. The award program, now in its 27th year, evaluates districts on funding levels, instructional time, student participation rates, facilities and community support.
"This national distinction reflects our collective commitment to providing high quality, inclusive music programs throughout the district," said Sarah White, BH-BL Fine Arts Director. "It recognizes the dedication of our teachers, the support of our administrators and Board of Education, and the value our community places on the arts."
WolfBrown, a research and evaluation firm specializing in education and the arts, independently reviewed and verified all applications. The NAMM Foundation, the charitable arm of the National Association of Music Merchants, works to remove barriers to music education and career pathways in the music industry.
