WellFlorida Council Members Members shall serve for terms of 2 years and may be eligible for reappointment. Overview WellFlorida Council (formerly known as the North Central Florida Health Planning Council) exists under Florida's health planning law (Section 408.033, Florida Statutes). Local health councils are hereby established as public or private nonprofit agencies serving the counties of a district. The members of each council shall be appointed in an equitable manner by the county commissions having jurisdiction in the respective district. Each council shall be composed of a number of persons equal to 1 1/2 times the number of counties which compose the district or 12 members, whichever is greater. "PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE SECOND READING (BUDGET FY 26-27) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of Aventura, Florida, will hold the second reading of an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF AVENTURA, FLORIDA, RELATING TO THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2026 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2027; APPROPRIATING AND ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR; PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. Said second reading will be held at the regular meeting of the City Commission to be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 7:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard, at Aventura City Hall, located at 19200 West Country Club Drive, Aventura, Florida. Any interested person may appear at said meeting and be heard with reference thereto. Matters relating to this ordinance may be discussed at this meeting. All interested parties shall take notice that the City of Aventura, in accordance with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, does not discriminate on the basis of disability.
