Candidate Screening Due to the volume of applications, every candidate meeting the minimum qualifications cannot be guaranteed an interview. Candidates are selected for an interview based on education and work experience most closely matching the requirements of the position and may be subject to an extensive selection process and screening program, which may include, but not be limited to, evaluation of training and experience, written test, oral test and performance test. "PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE SECOND READING (BUDGET FY 26-27) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of Aventura, Florida, will hold the second reading of an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF AVENTURA, FLORIDA, RELATING TO THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2026 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2027; APPROPRIATING AND ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR; PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. Said second reading will be held at the regular meeting of the City Commission to be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 7:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard, at Aventura City Hall, located at 19200 West Country Club Drive, Aventura, Florida. Any interested person may appear at said meeting and be heard with reference thereto. Matters relating to this ordinance may be discussed at this meeting. All interested parties shall take notice that the City of Aventura, in accordance with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, does not discriminate on the basis of disability.
