Aventura Community Garden Opens, Connects Residents to Nature

Aventura residents can now grow their own vegetables, flowers, and herbs at the new Aventura Community Green Garden. Located in Founders Park South at 3105 N.E. 190 Street, the garden offers 4 by 12-foot plots filled with sterilized topsoil, ready for planting.

To participate, individuals must become members and rent a plot. Membership is open to Aventura residents aged 18 and older. Plots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis after applications and fees are received. The annual fee for one plot is $150, with membership valid for one year from the registration date. New members can join anytime.

Registration for a plot is exclusively online through the City’s Online Registration System (ORS). Interested residents can visit cityofaventura.com/ors to register. Founders Park South operating hours may vary seasonally; check current hours for the Green Garden.
