Don Soffer Aventura High School Winter Sports Season Kicks Off: Soccer and Basketball Tryouts Conclude

Don Soffer Aventura High School (DSAHS) recently concluded its winter sports tryouts for boys' and girls' soccer, and boys' and girls' basketball. These tryouts led into a winter season that runs from mid-October to early February. The Athletic Department supports a well-rounded student-athlete experience, aiming to support academic and athletic excellence while fostering responsibility, maturity, character, leadership, integrity, and sportsmanship among its students.
The winter season includes Varsity Boys/Girls Soccer, Varsity Girls Basketball, and Varsity/JV Boys Basketball. Emilee McGinnis serves as the Athletic Director for DSAHS. The school's athletic department encourages students interested in participating to register for future athletic opportunities.
Boys' and Girls' Soccer tryouts took place from October 12th to October 16th, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, at the DSAHS Field. Following these, Girls' Basketball tryouts were held from October 26th to October 30th, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, in the DSAHS Gym. Boys' Basketball tryouts also ran from October 26th to October 30th, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, in the DSAHS Gym.
The Fall Season, which began in early August and concluded in late October, featured Varsity Boys/Girls Cross Country and Varsity/JV Girls Volleyball. Looking ahead, the Spring Season will run from late January to late April, offering Varsity Boys/Girls Tennis, Varsity Boys/Girls Track, Varsity Girls Flag Football, and Varsity Boys Volleyball.
