Holiday garbage pickup schedule announced

Augusta residents can expect adjusted garbage pickup schedules for the upcoming Christmas and New Year's holidays. Normal service will be provided Monday through Wednesday during the weeks of both holidays. However, there will be no pickup on Christmas Day, December 25th, or New Year's Day, January 1st.

Routes scheduled for Thursdays will be collected on Fridays, and Friday routes will be serviced on Saturdays during these holiday weeks. The regular garbage collection schedule is set to resume on Monday, January 5th, 2027.
