Auburndale Historic Commission Meets Tuesday on Roof Work & Site Nom.

The Auburndale Historic Preservation Commission will review roof alterations at the Thorpe House and consider historic site nominations for St. Albans Episcopal Church and the Municipal Services Building during its Sept. 22 meeting. Public input is welcome.

The Auburndale Historic Preservation Commission will meet Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at 3 p.m. in the City Commission Room at City Hall, 1 Bobby Green Plaza. The public hearing will address a Certificate of Appropriateness request for roof alterations at the Thorpe House, 343 Bay St.

Commissioners will also consider designating the St. Albans Episcopal Church and the Municipal Services Building as Local Historic Sites. These nominations recognize the structures' historical and architectural significance.

Residents may attend to learn more and offer input on the proposals.
