The Caring Family Foundation

The Caring Family Foundation Donate Now Food From The Heart ‘We have a fundamental belief that no child should go hungry and together we can make a difference, one meal at a time.’ Richard & Patricia Caring Over two and a half million children in the UK face food poverty each month, a rise of 27% since before COVID-19 struck. Meanwhile millions are struggling with debt, with more than 1.5 million adults in Britain reporting they can’t buy enough food. Working in partnership with established charities FareShare and The Felix Project, our Food From The Heart campaign, provides nutritious, balanced meals for children and their families who are struggling to provide the next meal. In the coming year, The Caring Family Foundation will ensure 6,000 children receive meals for every day of the school holidays, ensuring greater food security, while also working to help alleviate the shame and stigma from those struggling to afford food. In Brazil, where 60% of children live in poverty, the Foundation has an immediate focus on São Paulo, where 58 million people live with food insecurity. In 2020, the Caring Family Foundation launched two campaigns, One Million and One Meals and Food From The Heart delivering 1.14 million meals nationally to NHS workers and children living in food poverty in the UK. Another 1 million + meals are committed across the UK and Brazil in 2022, with 6,000 children receiving meals for every day of the school holidays. Find out more.
