Atlantic Beach to Hold Public Hearing on Fence and Wall Zoning Regulations
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, will hold a Public Hearing before the City Commission on February 26, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 800 Seminole Road, Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233, to consider the following: ORDINANCE 2024-04 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 24, “ZONING,” ARTICLE IV, “DISTRICT REGULATIONS,” DIVISION 7, “SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS,” SECTION 24-113, “FENCES, WALLS AND HEDGES,” OF THE CITY’S LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF LAWS IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for review on the City’s website at www.coab.us and in the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 800 Seminole Road, Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233. All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. The meeting will be held in person and via Zoom. Information on how to access the Zoom meeting will be posted on the City’s website at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing a special accommodation to participate in this proceeding should contact the City Clerk’s Office no later than five days prior to the hearing. Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
