Wind Advisory Issued: Gusts Up To 50 MPH Expected Today

A Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service in Huntsville, Alabama, for parts of North Alabama and Southern Middle Tennessee, effective until 7:00 PM CDT today, October 10.
Residents in Lauderdale, Colbert, Franklin (AL), Lawrence, Limestone, Moore (TN), Lincoln (TN), and Franklin (TN) counties should secure outdoor objects and be prepared for gusty winds.
Northeast winds are expected to reach 15 to 25 mph, with gusts potentially reaching 40 to 50 mph. These conditions may blow around unsecured items, bring down tree limbs, and could lead to isolated power outages.
The NWS advises extra caution, particularly for drivers of high-profile vehicles, as strong winds can make driving difficult. The advisory is in effect until 7:00 PM CDT this evening.
