Betty Jean Brewer, 81, Passes Away in Ashland City

Ashland City mourns the passing of Betty Jean Brewer, who died peacefully surrounded by her family on September 4, 2026, at the age of 81. Mrs. Brewer was a beloved member of the community, known for her large family and the enduring mark she left on all who knew her.

Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Authur Brewer. She is survived by her sons, JC Brewer (Donna) and Junior Brewer; and her daughters, Lisa Conner, Maxine Peacher (Michael), Mildred Bowers (Eddie), and Ruby Dial (Steven). She also leaves behind her brother, Ricky Thompson (Karen), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brewer took place on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home, located at 101 Elizabeth St., Ashland City, TN. Pastor Tony Langton officiated the service. Visitation with the family occurred from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM prior to the funeral. Pallbearers for the service included Mildred Bowers, Eddie Bowers, Steven Dial, Ricky Thompson, Richie Brown, and Freddy Brewer.

Interment followed the funeral service at EverRest of Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Mrs. Brewer's passing marks a significant loss for her extensive family and the Ashland City community.
