James Edward Pannell

James Edward Pannell, a beloved member of the Ashland City community, passed away on August 22, 2026. He will be remembered for the love, memories, and moments he shared with his children, family, and friends.

Pannell was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Sue Pannell and Albert Lee Pannell Sr. He is survived by his children: James, Gage, Cayden, and Brailynn. He also leaves behind his siblings, Lynn Cheeves (Billy), Tina Condra (Punkin), Albert Pannell Jr., Robert Pannell (Jody), Mary Pannell (C.J. Alamares), Stella Peek (Shane), and Ashlee McKay (Micah).

He is also survived by his best friend of 40 years, Terry Nesmith, whose lifelong friendship was filled with cherished memories and laughter.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home, located at 101 Elizabeth St., Ashland City, TN 37015. The funeral service began at 2 p.m., officiated by Pastor Shaun Sutton.

James Pannell's memory will continue to live on through everyone who loved him.
