"The City of St. Charles Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to discuss proposed amendments to the city's zoning ordinance. The hearing will take place on March 15th at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers. Residents are encouraged to attend and provide feedback. Details of the proposed amendments are available on the city website."
" Welcome Visitors & Artists: Four (6) competitions will be taking place at the Augusta Harmonie Verein: Theme 1 – Blast From the Past– Judging at 7:30am Theme 2 – Meant for Grape Things – Judging at 8:30am Theme 3 – Light & Shadows – Judging at 9:30am Artists’ Choice Voting – Round One starting at 11am Ending at 11:45. Round Two starting at 12:15pm Ending at 1pm Peoples’ Choice Voting – In Person starting at 1:30pm to 8pm Online starting at 3:30pm to 10pm The 1st place $750 purchase prize for “Blast From the Past” is sponsored by Nathan Laupp, Advisor, Modern Wealth Solutions The 1st place $750 purchase prize for “Meant for Grape Things” is sponsored by Ann Struckhoff and Mike Angelo The 1st place $750 purchase prize for “Light & Shadows” is sponsored by Madge and Ladd King Artist’s Choice judging will be held at The Augusta Harmonie Verein Hall in Augusta at Church St. & Hackman St. The first round of judging will take place at 11:00 PM – 11:45 PM. The top paintings will be set aside for a second round of judging starting at 12:15 PM and ending at 1:00 PM. The Artists’ Choice winner will be announced at the Final Sale on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 11:30 AM. The semi-finalist winners from Artists’ Choice will be on display for the Peoples’ Choice live voting at the Harmonie from 1:30 PM until 8:00 PM. Online voting for People’s Choice on Facebook will begin at 1:30 PM and close at 10:00 PM. The Peoples’ Choice winner will be announced at the Final Sale on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 11:30 AM. Art will be on display and available for purchase beginning at noon until 6pm. Celebrate another year of hard work painting with fellow artists and friends in Augusta. Attention Artists!
