We are all uniquely crafted in the image of God, and within the depths of our souls, lies an indelible mark that cannot be erased. We lift our prayers for those who show no empathy, those who disregard the sanctity of life, and for nations and individuals who perpetrate abuse and violence. While we do not claim the role of judge or jury, we are called to be instruments of transformation. If our approach to others resembles the fluttering of a butterfly’s wings, let it be so, Lord. “2 Thessalonians 3:16: Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you” May the far-reaching effects of this significant action reverberate throughout the hearts and spirits of those on whose behalf we are intervening. May this serve as a reminder to recognize and appreciate the immeasurable value of individuals whose significance may go unnoticed in our daily lives, and to acknowledge and honor those whose influence evokes profound emotions in the divine realm. Prince of Peace, I come before you with a burdened and restless heart. Please grant me the inner peace that surpasses all understanding. Calm the storms within me and fill me with the assurance of your presence. Help me to cast my anxieties upon you and to trust in your perfect peace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
