The City of Apopka released a feasibility study detailing the area, projected revenues and expenses, and legal annexation procedures. A special election requires approval from both city and county voters for annexation to proceed.
The Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office provided cost estimates for the special election on June 13, 2023. These figures, available in the Proposed Annexation Elections Fact Sheet, cover vote-by-mail and in-person voting options. A Google Map of the study area, stretching toward Lake Apopka, is also available through the city's resources.
