Residents in Orange County Coastal Areas are urged to take immediate precautions as an Extreme Heat Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service San Diego CA. The warning is effective from 12:19 AM PDT until 8:00 PM PDT today, October 8th.

High temperatures are expected to reach the upper 80s to mid-90s, particularly near higher coastal terrain. The National Weather Service emphasizes that heat-related illnesses increase significantly during such extreme heat events.
