A Wind Advisory is in effect until noon today for Western Franklin, Eastern Franklin, Western Hampshire, Western Hampden, and Eastern Hampshire counties. The National Weather Service (NWS) Boston/Norton MA issued the advisory at 2:51 AM EDT on September 27.

Northeast winds of 15 to 20 mph are expected, with gusts potentially reaching up to 45 mph. These conditions can blow around unsecured objects. There is also a possibility of tree limbs being blown down, which could lead to a few power outages.

The NWS advises that winds of this strength can make driving challenging, particularly for high-profile vehicles. Drivers are urged to use extra caution while on the roads.
