Winter Springs residents can find information about waste and recycling services through the city's Customer Service office or Waste Pro's website. The Customer Service office, located near the Winter Springs Town Center, is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 407-327-5996 for solid waste collection inquiries.

Solid waste, recycling, and yard waste collection occurs twice weekly. Residents can choose between Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday pickup days. Place collection containers curbside by 7 a.m. on scheduled pickup days. A map detailing collection schedules is available in the supporting documents section of the city's resources. Residents can also search their home address online to confirm their specific pickup days.

Seminole County sets recycling guidelines. A printable recycling cheat sheet is available for residents. Damaged recycling bins receive free replacements at City Hall. New recycling bins cost $6 and are available at the Utility Billing Department, also located at City Hall.

Property owners must use solid waste services provided by Waste Pro, the city's awarded franchise. To obtain price quotes or order a dumpster, property owners must contact Waste Pro directly, per the Code of Ordinance, Chapter 19, Article 1.

The city observes holidays that suspend garbage, recycling, or yard waste services: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Services resume on the next regularly scheduled pickup day following these holidays.
