Ace Hardware Announces Grand Opening of New Distribution Center in Kansas City KANSAS CITY, Mo., October 26, 2024 – Ace Hardware Corporation today announced the grand opening of its new distribution center in Kansas City, Missouri. The new facility will serve more than 400 Ace Hardware stores in the Midwest region. “We are excited to open our new distribution center in Kansas City,” said Jeff Gooding, Executive Vice President, Distribution. “This new facility will allow us to better serve our retailers in the Midwest and support their growth.” The new distribution center is 500,000 square feet and features state-of-the-art technology. It is expected to create 200 new jobs in the Kansas City area. The grand opening celebration will be held on November 15, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the distribution center, located at 12345 Elm Street, Kansas City, MO 64161. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of the facility, and refreshments.

Cincinnati, Ohio – The National Association Directors of Nursing Administration in Long-Term Care (NADONA/LTC) announces the winners of its Stephanie Carroll Memorial scholarships. The Stephanie Carroll Memorial Scholarship Awards are in memory of Stephanie Carroll, a long-time valued NADONA/LTC employee. The scholarships are intended for nursing students enrolled in an accredited nursing program or in an undergraduate program who have chosen long-term care or geriatrics as their practice area after graduation.
