Makel White Additional Information Biography: What are your hobbies and how are you involved on campus?: My hobbies are running, playing soccer, being active and working out, watching sports, hanging out with friends, and trying new things. On campus I am involved in Black Men on the Move, Minorities in Medicine, Pre-Health Society, Pre-Physical Therapy Chapter, Army ROTC, and recreational sports. Describe your personality: I am very caring, personable, and hard-working. I enjoy building genuine connections with others and having fun. What are you passionate about?: I am passionate about giving back to my community and making a positive difference in the lives of others. I also have a strong passion for health and fitness. What are you looking forward to most in mentoring students?: I’m looking forward to making a positive impact on student’s lives by supporting and encouraging them to achieve their goals while helping them overcome obstacles.

" Patriotic Children’s Parade in Lititz, PA at Mount Calvary Lutheran ChurchThere is something special about neighbors gathering together, children laughing, and families celebrating the blessings God has given. On Saturday, June 27, from 9:00–10:00 AM, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church invites families, friends, and neighbors from Lititz, Lancaster, Manheim, and the surrounding communities to join us for our Patriotic Children’s Parade as we celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday. This joyful community event is designed to bring together children, parents, grandparents, and neighbors for a morning of fellowship, fun, and gratitude. Children are encouraged to decorate their bicycles, wagons, scooters, and riding toys in red, white, and blue and join the parade around the church property. A Family-Friendly Community Event Near Lancaster, PAAs Christians, we recognize that every good gift comes from God. The freedoms we enjoy, the communities in which we live, and the opportunities we have to gather and worship are all blessings for which we give thanks. While the parade is certainly a fun event for children and families, it is also an opportunity to reflect on God’s continued provision and care throughout the history of our nation. Families throughout Lititz, Lancaster County, and nearby communities are warmly invited to attend.Celebrate with Red, White, and BlueChildren are encouraged to come with riding toys decorated in red, white, and blue. Families are also welcome to dress in patriotic colors as we celebrate this special milestone together with joy and thanksgiving. Following the parade, everyone is invited to remain for light refreshments and fellowship on the church patio.
