National Fallen Firefighter Memorial

"To honor America’s fallen firefighters and their families, on Sunday, May 3, 2026, all United States flags will be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset in observance of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial.  This memorial is dedicated to remembering those who have lost their lives while serving as firefighters, and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation was established by the United States Congress to lead a nationwide effort in this regard. Since its creation in 1992, the Foundation has been working to develop and expand programs to honor and support the families and colleagues of fallen firefighters, and to ensure that their sacrifice is never forgotten. The post National Fallen Firefighter Memorial appeared first on Incorporated Village of Cedarhurst."
