HAWTHORNE – Adrion Flowers, a 27-year-old man sought by the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office in connection with an August shooting, has been taken into custody and faces an attempted murder charge, according to court records.
The Sheriff's Office announced Flowers' apprehension on social media, thanking the public for their assistance. Flowers, also known as “Solo Mook” and “Mook,” is charged with attempted second-degree murder, possession of a firearm or ammunition by a convicted Florida felon, and discharging a firearm on public or residential property.
These charges stem from a shooting incident that occurred on August 24 in the 6000 block of Southeast 225th Street in Hawthorne. Deputies responded to a report of a shooting and found an adult male suffering from a single gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital; authorities stated his injuries were not life-threatening.
Detectives investigated the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The Sheriff's Office identified Flowers as a suspect, noting he had fled the area and may have been driving a black Dodge Durango with a red stripe. A reward of up to $5,000 was offered for information leading to his whereabouts.
Jail records indicate Flowers is being held without bond. He is also being held on a probation violation related to a separate 2025 criminal case. The identity of the shooting victim and further details about the incident have not been released by the Sheriff's Office.
