Newberry UMC offers traditional worship with a welcoming spirit

Newberry United Methodist Church (UMC) provides a worship experience that blends traditional elements with an inclusive and comfortable atmosphere. The church aims to create a special experience each Sunday, valuing the presence of everyone, whether attending in person or via livestream.

Worship services at Newberry UMC incorporate familiar practices such as singing hymns, reciting creeds, and utilizing various liturgies. The church emphasizes that these elements are presented in a way that feels accessible to all attendees, regardless of their prior familiarity with these traditions. The goal is to foster a shared sense of community and spiritual connection during each service.

The church highlights that every individual's participation is integral to the worship experience. Whether worshipers are physically present in the sanctuary or joining through the church's Livestream, their contribution is seen as essential to shaping the service. This inclusive approach underscores the church's commitment to making everyone feel welcome and valued.

Newberry UMC offers various avenues for community engagement beyond Sunday worship, including a range of ministries designed to serve different needs within the congregation and the wider community. Information about these ministries, as well as opportunities for giving and contact details, are available through the church.
