Appealing a Tangible Personal Property Assessment

Appealing a Tangible Personal Property Assessment Understanding Your Tangible Personal Property Assessment Each year, business owners in Miami-Dade County receive a Notice of Proposed Property Taxes (TRIM Notice), which includes the assessment of their Tangible Personal Property (TPP). This includes assets like furniture, equipment, and other items used in the operation of a business. We encourage you to talk to or visit the Property Appraiser first, before the deadline on your Notice of Proposed Property Taxes, for a review of your folio and an explanation of the assessment. You don't have to wait for a deadline or a formal process. We're here to help clarify, correct, or update your account at any time during the year. An assessment may not be contested unless a timely Tangible Personal Property Tax Return is filed. Note: Inquiries must be made no later than the deadline date printed on the notice. Taxpayers may inquire about their assessment in person by going to the address listed on the bottom of their notice. Franke Park Community Discusses E-Bike Power and Trail Safety

" File photo: YT As you might’ve noticed, class 1 e-bike specs are on the rise. Though the Avinox M2S is just the latest motor to push the envelope, power and torque specs have been creeping up over the past several seasons. And though speeds are locked in at 20mph for class 1 eMTBs in the USA, in Europe, the limit is just 15.5mph, which some riders argue is still too high, depending on the trail. We want to know whether you think any of the latest e-bike specs are too high for trail use, and whether you’re an e-rider yourself. #wpforms-717791.wpforms-block-515ecf20-75b8-4a24-bc88-22a49c5ed8f3 { --wpforms-field-size-input-height: 43px; --wpforms-field-size-input-spacing: 15px; --wpforms-field-size-font-size: 16px; --wpforms-field-size-line-height: 19px; --wpforms-field-size-padding-h: 14px; --wpforms-field-size-checkbox-size: 16px; --wpforms-field-size-sublabel-spacing: 5px; --wpforms-field-size-icon-size: 1; --wpforms-label-size-font-size: 16px; --wpforms-label-size-line-height: 19px; --wpforms-label-size-sublabel-font-size: 14px; --wpforms-label-size-sublabel-line-height: 17px; --wpforms-button-size-font-size: 17px; --wpforms-button-size-height: 41px; --wpforms-button-size-padding-h: 15px; --wpforms-button-size-margin-top: 10px; --wpforms-container-shadow-size-box-shadow: none; } Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form. Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form."

Local Rider Reviews Granite Dells Trail System

" Greg Heil   ✓ supporter June 4, 2026 .st_rating_stars img {height: 20px;} These in-town tech trails are a fantastic getaway from it all! The rocky granite slabs (both up and down) and the short, steep descents demand constant focus, and the views from these elevated boulders are absolutely stunning. Highly recommended! Rider Reviews Timberland Hills Trail System in Central Wisconsin

"This is a gem of a trail system in the central Wisconsin hardwood forests. Upon arriving you’ll find a very large parking area and a very comfortable meeting house, complete with comfortable seating and a change room. There is no running water, and the toilet is a well constructed out house. There is a requested trail fee – $10 daily and $40 annual — which is on an honor system. There are beginner, intermediate, and advanced trails winding through the woods. I would advise wearing clear lens eye protection rather than tinted — the woods canopy is thick making it dark. The intermediate and advanced offer good and appropriate challenges in drops, rock gardens, switchback berms, and hills (didn’t ride the beginner). There are ample loop configurations to keep your interest. There are two camp sites available on the lakes for those so inclined. The trails are well maintained throughout the system. This destination is worth the drive."

Reader Comment: Longest Travel Mountain Bike Discussion

" Though this makes for a good illustration, you can’t directly measure your bike’s rear suspension this way. The longest-travel mountain bike that you own says something about who you are as a rider. Maybe you ride shuttle laps at the bike park regularly. Maybe you’re into over- or under-biking. Maybe you used to race DH but just don’t have the heart to sell your gravity rig. Whatever the case, we want to know how big your biggest bike is. #wpforms-718724.wpforms-block-245462b6-a2e2-41a6-9764-0fd70b594855 { --wpforms-field-size-input-height: 43px; --wpforms-field-size-input-spacing: 15px; --wpforms-field-size-font-size: 16px; --wpforms-field-size-line-height: 19px; --wpforms-field-size-padding-h: 14px; --wpforms-field-size-checkbox-size: 16px; --wpforms-field-size-sublabel-spacing: 5px; --wpforms-field-size-icon-size: 1; --wpforms-label-size-font-size: 16px; --wpforms-label-size-line-height: 19px; --wpforms-label-size-sublabel-font-size: 14px; --wpforms-label-size-sublabel-line-height: 17px; --wpforms-button-size-font-size: 17px; --wpforms-button-size-height: 41px; --wpforms-button-size-padding-h: 15px; --wpforms-button-size-margin-top: 10px; --wpforms-container-shadow-size-box-shadow: none; } Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form. Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form."
