Adams County is the zoning authority for the unincorporated areas of the County. We administer zoning and other County land use ordinances to help ensure that residents have safe and healthy places to live, work, and recreate. The County is responsible for managing the growth and development of the County through the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinance. We provide information regarding zoning regulations, permitting, code enforcement, and development review services.
