ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ADAMS COUNTY, IOWA CULVERT REPLACEMENT PROJECT 120TH STREET BETWEEN REDWOOD AVE AND SPRUCE AVE Adams County, Iowa, will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Culvert Replacement Project located on 120th Street between Redwood Ave and Spruce Ave until 10:00 A.M. on the 9th day of July, 2024, at the Office of the County Auditor, Adams County Courthouse, 110 Corning Street, Corning, Iowa, at which time and place said bids will be opened and tabulated. The project consists of the construction of a new culvert, and other incidental work, as shown and specified in the Contract Documents. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Adams County Engineer, 509 Commerce Street, Corning, Iowa 50841, Phone (641) 322-3714. Bidding Documents may be examined at the Issuing Office, and at the following locations: ConstructConnect - www.constructconnect.com Dodge Data & Analytics - www.construction.com Master Builders of Iowa - www.mbionline.com Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during business hours by prospective Bidders and others upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $50.00 for a hard copy set, or a non-refundable fee of $25.00 for a digital copy on USB flash drive. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be made payable to Adams County Engineer. Only registered plan holders will be permitted to bid on the project. A prebid conference will not be held. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid payable to Adams County, Iowa, and in the form provided in the Contract Documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. The Adams County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into a contract which, in their judgment, is in the best interest of Adams County, Iowa.
